Firefly Medical's debut product, the "Infusion Management System" or IMS, is a stunning and dramatic departure from all inspirations which have gone before it. The IMS is clearly a disruptive, new product catagory. It is not an evolution in patient care, but a revolution instead.
The sleek features and innovative functions of the IMS heralds new opportunities for patient safety, transport, and mobility. Cutting edge engineering gives the versatile IMS three storage options when it is not in use.
The IMS's strong value proposition focuses on improving patient and caregiver safety, reducing operating costs and liabilities, decreasing caregiver's workload and wasted time, and resolving expensive and outdated storage problems. The bold design of the IMS heralds a new opportunity for valuable branding potential, setting clear standards for Firefly Medical's product roadmap to follow it.
NURSES: Valuable, Versatile, & Visionary
Firefly Medical's product innovations were born from its Founder's broad clinical experiences as an RN, and from the frustrations of contending with the outdated, unsafe, and inefficient tools of patient care. Firefly Medical believes that no group is more key to the success of its vision and its products than the professional nursing community. The professional nurse remains one of the most proactive and productive forces in driving positive change in healthcare today.
It is evident that nurses are the end-users of many of the products Firefly Medical is seeking to improve and develop. Nurses are also strong advocates for quality patient care. There are many professionals in the healthcare industry that 'talk' about improving the patient care experience, but it is the nurses that 'practice' these themes every day.
Understanding this, Firefly Medical has sought the input of many professional nurses as the Company has developed its product ideas. The input of so many of these clincial experts and their leadership has proven invaluable! It emerges as a key reason why the IMS is now regarded as being "the right product for the right time." This practice of regularly communicating with nurses and seeking their input will continue as an ongoing discipline and function of this company’s forward-thinking processes. Here are some actual photographs taken from some of the focus groups we have conducted with nurses in the development of the Company's products.
“The best businesses are built on insightful understanding of their markets. What better vehicle to not simply obtain one-time data, but open up a well spring of market understanding by tapping into what is perhaps the most unsought and unheard voice in the medical community – the voice of seasoned hands on nurses."
- Chad Fletcher, CEO, Enginuity

We have asked many healthcare professionals what the specific challenges are and what they would imagine the solutions to be. Most importantly, we have listened to them! And our ideas and products have achieved form and function through this consistent and valuable input.
As a result, we have evaluated the IMS against the frank, face-to-face feedback of over 100 industry professionals: Hospital CEOs, COOs, and CFOs, MDs, RNs, Purchasing Directors, nationally-renowned safety experts, Nurse Managers, FDA specialists, physical therapists, national sales executives, and a variety of industry consultants. From all these meetings, we have received unanimous accolades for the specific solutions we are providing.
